HUG and MyPlace Summer Programs

This summer, MyPlace and HUG are offering a wide variety of FREE activities for elementary students, teens, families, and the wider community throughout July and August.
From scavenger hunts, sensory activities, sports, art, crafts, mindful activities, story walks, and teen hangouts, our goal is to create safe, welcoming spaces where children, youth, and families can connect, build friendships, and support positive mental health all summer long.
Some highlights include:
• Teen Hangouts for ages 11–15
• Friendship-focused elementary programming
• International Youth Day celebration
• Community kindness projects
• Outdoor activities in parks across Medicine Hat
• Collaboration with amazing community partners!!
Please note:
• All drop-in activities are FREE and open to the community while supplies last & Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
• No registration is required for community drop-in activities
• Teen Hangouts and the Elementary Friendship Group do require registration due to limited spots, check out the program calendars to see what is happening this summer.
