CURRENT STUDENT REGISTRATION – February 7, 2019

In order to serve families and students better, we have made a couple changes to our registration process for the 2019/2020 school year.

All schools (for grade 1-12 students) will send home a Next Year Grade Level and Next Year School Placement form and a Student Demographic Update form for each student. We ask that families watch for these forms, fill them out and promptly return them to the school. The two forms identified above will replace the previous 4 page pre-populated registration form.

  • English students that are currently enrolled at Connaught School will be contacted by the school in their attendance area to go through the registration process.
  • Current Grade 6 students that are transitioning from elementary to a middle or high school can expect to receive registration documents from their current school. Forms should be completed and returned to current school.
  • Current Grade 9 students that are transitioning from Dr Roy Wilson Learning Centre and Medicine Hat Christian School will receive forms from their current school.  Forms should be completed and returned to current school.

Note: Families may be required to fill out additional forms that are specific to each school. We are happy to help, if families require more information about changes to the registration process please connect with the school (see chart below).

NEW STUDENTS REGISTRATION – February 7, 2019

Starting February 7, 2019 all schools will be accepting new student registration (ELP, Kindergarten – grade 12). We ask that families identify their in-area school boundaries by reviewing the attendance area maps below. To register or to ask questions, please contact your local school; we are happy to help.

We transport over 2,500 students including students with special needs.

The Board may provide transportation service for resident students in the following categories:

  1. Students within the school district boundaries who reside over 2.4km from their designated school.
  2. Grades K-3 students residing beyond 1.2km from their designated school.\
